Josiane Martinez, Founder and CEO of Archipelago Strategies Group, holds over 20 years of experience working in public policy, cross-cultural communications, public affairs, and public administration. Since founding ASG ten years ago, she has been the driving force behind campaigns that have generated record results for clients in the public and private sectors. In that time, she has also increased her staff to over 120 employees and 60 clients. Prior to founding ASG, she served as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Office for Refugees and Immigrants in Governor Deval Patrick’s Administration. She holds a BA in Public Communications from the University of Puerto Rico and an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Simmons University. In 2023, she was personally tapped by Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll to Co-Chair the Latino Empowerment Council to strategically advise the Governor on strategies to improve the well-being of the Latino communities in Massachusetts.

Christina Killizli-Salameh
Christina is a graduate of Suffolk University in Boston, MA, Class of 2014 with an Executive Master of Business Administration. She is joining us as the Chief People Officer. Christina made the move to join ASG to help support and lead People Services and continue to support the growth of ASG’s strategic and innovative future. Growing up in Boston, many of the clients, programs, and initiatives we provide services to at ASG are some of the same she has supported and advocated for like affordable, quality health care, employment, and education since her parents arrived as immigrants.
She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management Member (SHRM) and sits on the MBA board of Suffolk University. She is also a licensed real estate Broker in Massachusetts and Connecticut, a certified Notary Public, and a Cultural Awareness Trainer.
Christina has worked in various roles in administration, compliance, facility, human resources, IT/IS, operations and risk mitigation. She recently held the position of Chief People and Culture Officer with The Overlook, part of Masonic Health Systems and prior to that she was the Chief Administrative Officer with Charles River Community Health. Christina has 25+ years in profit and non-profit organizations, largely focusing on administration, operations, human resources, financials, and information systems. She is passionate about arriving at data-driven solutions and enjoys problem solving and finding resolutions to perceived barriers, in order to build consensus, promote collaboration and growth.
She is a proud first-generation college graduate and first-generation English speaker. In her free time, she enjoys Sudoku, jigsaw puzzles and camping with Canada being her favorite destination and then any place along the Maine/Canadian border. She has camped mostly all of East, South, North and has Middle and West sections of the United States left to do in “her free time”. She resides in Holland, MA with her son Zane, who is a freshman in college and her fur babies, Sonny and Max –both German Shepherds and Sophie, the feline boss of the group.

Jasmine is Director of Client Services Delivery at ASG and in her previous positions she was Associate Director of Client Accounts and Senior Project Manager. Prior to ASG, Jasmine served as Fundraising & Operations Coordinator for (MassNOW) and Director of Development & Communications for RESPOND, Inc. She provides tactical leadership and oversees any project related activities. Based in Providence, Rhode Island, Jasmine enjoys spending time off with her son exploring theme parks, attending sporting events and listening to music. Jasmine holds a BS. in Legal Studies from Roger Williams University and an MPH in Health Law, Bioethics and Human Rights from Boston University.

Angelo Lima

Angelo is a Senior Client Account Manager at ASG. He develops action plans for projects and oversees all contributors involved, working across all departments to guarantee timeliness and success. Prior to ASG, Angelo was a Project Manager for the Latin America Region at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). Outside of work, Angelo enjoys exploring Austin’s array of fascinating restaurants and is a collector of hobbies which include photography, reading, biking, and hiking. Angelo holds a BA in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies from UMass Boston.

Alyssa McBryar
Alyssa McBryar is a Senior Client Account Manager and an award-winning marketing leader with 9 years of experience growing leading brands and nonprofits while championing DEI. She has excelled at leadership roles, demonstrating an aptitude for storytelling, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving. These qualities have resulted in spearheading streamlined processes, impactful messaging, and innovative solutions – all with the goal of connecting and engaging with diverse audiences. Alyssa holds a BS in Marketing from Suffolk University and has worked with a range of diverse brands and nonprofits including Harvard Business School, PUMA, Hasbro, Eastern Bank, The Black Executive CMO Alliance, Lamaze International, The Children’s Trust of Massachusetts and has contributed to securing contracts with brands like LinkedIn, Zillow, Edward Jones, Chiquita, Aquaphor, and Beyond Meat. At ASG, Alyssa nurtures and strategically grows complex, high-profile accounts and manages projects from conception to launch.

Chris Carballo
Chris Carballo is the Associate Director of Client Accounts at ASG and a seasoned marketing professional celebrated for his compassionate leadership and skillful collaboration. Chris has consistently excelled in pivotal roles, demonstrating an aptitude for active listening, problem-solving, and partnership. These qualities have resulted in streamlined processes, impactful go-to-market messaging, and innovative solutions, all with the ultimate goal of connecting and engaging with audiences and the community. The diverse range of brands Chris has worked with includes notable names like Tufts Health Plan, Bunker Hill Community College, C21 Real Estate, Volkswagen, and Ford Motor. During his tenure at Ford, Chris’ direction, teamwork, and ability to align global strategy with the local social environment led to three shortlistings in the Cannes Lions Festival. Chris’ accomplishments also include his previous role at Everbridge, where he established and led the Content Strategy Team, benefiting global campaigns up and down the marketing funnel.
Beyond his professional achievements in local and international markets, Chris is a forward-thinking individual who stays current with the latest trends in tech, marketing, and social media. His commitment to diversity and inclusion is evident not only through his work but also in his service as chairperson of LGBTQ+ employee resource groups, and on every project he interacts with and manages at ASG.

Rose Kajubi
Rose is a Client Account Manager at ASG. She brings with her expertise in marketing and client relationship management. She previously worked at Metrowest Community Federal Credit Union as the Marketing and Business Development Manager. She has also held Senior Account Manager roles at Tsalanea Media in Johannesburg and Fireworks Advertising in Kampala!
Rose graduated high school from Gayaza High School in Kampala, Uganda and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics from Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. She also grew up in Kampala and currently resides in Weymouth, MA. In her free time, she enjoys playing bounce house with her sons, watching TV, and cooking. Ana is an Client Account Coordinator at ASG. She ensures smooth operation of the company by tracking logistics, monitoring projects and ensuring timely and consistent execution of campaigns and events. Prior to ASG, she worked as Welcome Desk Coordinator for Emerson College where she was President of the student organization, Raíz Latinoamericana. Outside of work, Ana enjoys exploring Massachusetts, going to the movie theater, trying new restaurants and spending quality time with friends and family. Ana holds a BS in Communication Studies with a minor in Political Sciences and Public Relations from Emerson College in Boston.

Amanda Chisolm
Amanda is a Client Account Coordinator at ASG. She has project management, strategy development, marketing, public relations, and social media experience while serving in positions such as Communication Coordinator and Account Executive.
Amanda graduated high school from the Academy of the Pacific Rim in Hyde Park, MA and then graduated from Smith College in Northampton, MA with a Bachelor of Arts. She grew up in Boston and Newton, MA and currently resides in Newton, MA. In her free time, she run her own Instagram page dedicated to New England travel and experiences. She enjoys taking day trips to explore various parts of the region and creating content about her adventures. Some fun facts about Amanda are her signs are Taurus sun, Pisces moon, and Leo rising.

Chelsea Swift
Chelsea is the Associate Director of Communications & Media at ASG. She brings with her strategic marketing, operations, and client relationship skills from serving in her previous positions such as Public Relations and Marketing Manager, Marketing and Event Manager, and Director of Marketing.
Chelsea graduated high school from Shepard Hill Regional High School in Dudley, MA and then graduated from Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing Communications. She grew up in Webster and Dudley, MA and currently resides in Worcester, MA. In her free time, she likes to read, write, do yoga, kayak, cook, and spend time with family. A fun fact about Chelsea is that she wrote, designed and self-published a children’s book on Amazon called “The Blue Bird King” that inspires children to find their voice and follow their dreams.

Alec Loftus
Alec brings a wealth of experience to his role of Senior Communications Manager, supporting ASG’s project teams. He advises clients on strategic communications, prepares talking points, drafts and places op-eds, and develops and implements client media trainings. Alec also pitches stories to media outlets, maintaining strong relationships with mainstream and ethnic media reporters and editors. Alec has worked at ASG since 2016.

Reid Thomas

Reid is a Digital Media Manager at ASG. They bring expertise in connecting the dots across design, strategy, implementation, and reporting while staying audience-centered when working across channels. Reid has previously worked as an Adjunct Professor at Rhode Island College, a Digital Strategy Manager at Trailblaze Marketing, as well as an Interactive Manager at Firmidable.
Reid went to high school at the Marine Academy of Science and Technology in Sandy Hook, NJ and went to college at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA. They grew up in Red Bank, NJ and currently reside in Philadelphia, PA. In their free time, Reid writes and creates video games! Reid has even created a video game for 30-year old Macintosh computers!

Fred Martins
Fred is Creative Director at ASG who is responsible for leading creative projects and supervising other copywriters and artists to create work for websites, advertisements or campaigns. Prior to ASG, they worked as Creative Director for several agencies in the BtoB Technology Sector launching brands in the Biotech and Process Control Sectors. Outside of work, Fred is an award-winning fine art photographer with many works in local museums and private collections. Of their many eclectic hobbies include building traditional New England stone walls that hold a meaningful history and add to the rustic charm of New England. Fred holds a BA from New England School of Art and Design.

Mafe Della Porta
Mafe Della Porta, Creative Services Manager, brings over 10 years of experience in managing high-impact marketing campaigns and cross-functional teams. At ASG, she collaborates closely with the Creative Department and other teams to ensure that project deliverables not only meet but exceed expectations. Mafe oversees the delivery of more than 40 marketing campaigns annually and manages over 3,000 assets. Her responsibilities include tracking all assets, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining consistency with feedback. Before joining ASG, Mafe held key roles at Weeks Marine and Grupo Los Principitos, where she successfully coordinated logistics and managed franchise operations across multiple markets in Latin America. She is dedicated to driving results through innovative solutions and strategic planning. Mafe holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, Venezuela.

Outside of work, Jarret enjoys hiking, touring and tasting at wineries and breweries, and exploring different amusement parks across the country. Prior to ASG, Brandon was an Educator in the Boston Public Schools and served as a Community Organizer for over seventeen years, focusing on housing, anti-racism and education. Syeeda is currently a student at Suffolk University working to achieve her BAS in Political Science and has prior experience as Suffolk Votes Scholar, encouraging and educating students to vote.

Zaida is an Events and Activations Manager at ASG. She is responsible for ensuring the appropriate allocation of staff and other resources on projects in order to achieve client satisfaction. Outside of work, Zaida enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and taking her dog on long walks. Rachelle brings with her expertise in community organizing and event planning to her role as an Events and Activations Manager at ASG. Rachelle is great at connecting with people, building relationships, and creating programs that bring communities together. She previously worked for Relentless as the Senior Mobilization Events Manager & at Educators for Excellence as an Organizing Director.

Jetemir Balaj
Jetemir brings with him expertise in community engagement, large-scale event management, cross-functional leadership, with a proven ability to deliver impactful, culturally resonant events to his role as an Events and Activations Manager at ASG. He has spent many years serving as a Social Advocacy Campaigner.
Jetemir graduated school from West London College in London, UK and then graduated from Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, MA with a Masters in Public Administration. He grew up in Prishtina, Kosovo and currently resides in East Boston, MA. In his free time, he visits US historical monuments with his wife and three boys. A fun fact about Jetmir is that he plays New York Times puzzles competitively against his kids. Jetemir is also multi-lingual as he speaks English, Spanish, French, and Albanian.

Karen is the Associate Director of the Customer Support Center at ASG. She is a 3rd generation Somervillian—born, raised and went to school in Somerville, Massachusetts—until she moved to New Hampshire 20 years ago. Karen comes to ASG with an extensive background in customer service with Partners Healthcare, Northeast Credit Union, and New Hampshire E-Z Pass. She loves to spend any free time she has with her family.

Joshua serves as the Multi-Role Specialist at ASG, where he is the subject matter expert for the Customer Support Center. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in Florida, his passion lies in helping others and making a meaningful impact in the community he now proudly calls home.
His professional journey began in Florida as a Store Manager at Advance America, a leading cash advance provider. There, he gained valuable experience in cash handling, customer service, and grassroots marketing. He later joined Apria Healthcare, an oxygen supply company, where he served as an Intake Processor and Liaison, helping coordinate new patient setups and ensuring seamless communication between clients and healthcare providers.
Outside of work, his greatest joys are spending time with my family and exploring new places through travel with them. These passions fuel his commitment to connection, compassion, and continuous growth in both my personal and professional life.

Maegan Santos
Maegan is a Customer Support Center Representative at ASG. She brings extensive experience in data entry and customer service. She considers herself a hard worker and enjoys accomplishing goals. Maegan goes to the gym four days a week to maintain a good balance in life and likes to stay productive and positive. She enjoys challenging herself to see her full capabilities.
As a mother, Maegan is constantly multitasking throughout her day and is skilled at time management, which is also beneficial in her work, where she frequently needs to handle multiple tasks at once.

Benvinda Oliveira
Benvinda is a Administrative & Operations Coordinator at ASG. Joining ASG is incredibly exciting for her because the company focuses on providing marketing services to other organizations and making an impact in the process. This aligns perfectly with her values, as she has always sought to make a difference throughout her career, believing that working for a purpose is far more rewarding than working without one.
In her spare time, Benvinda enjoys reading, training in the gym, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves traveling and has visited Brazil, Israel, Cape Verde, and Portugal. A fun fact about her is that outside of her professional career, she is a professional model signed to an agency, doing commercial print jobs and acting for different brands.
Benvinda has completed a one-year program in finance, equivalent to an associate degree, and has earned an associate degree in Business at SNHU. She is currently working to complete her bachelor’s degree, with plans to graduate by the summer of 2025. In the meantime, she looks forward to bringing the skills and experience she has gained over the years to her new role and is committed to continuing her education through training and programs that will add value to the team and the company as a whole.

Ada Ortiz workings at ASG as a Team Lead, she is passionate about providing excellent customer support. Born in Puerto Rico and having lived in New Jersey, New York, and now Massachusetts, she is a dedicated professional with a strong foundation of faith and a positive attitude. Previously, she served as an Assistant Manager at LogixHealth, assisting patients with payment questions and related concerns following emergency room treatment. She also holds a background in cosmetology.
Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping, with summer being her favorite season. Family values and faith remain central to her personal and professional life.

Rose Urena is the Office Manager at ASG, where she brings strong organizational skills, a love for people, and a deep commitment to her community. Before joining ASG, Rose gained valuable experience as an HR Assistant at JSB Industries and as a Payroll Coordinator at The Staffing Group.
Born and raised in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, Rose moved to Lawrence, MA in 2015. She is a proud graduate of Lawrence High School and continues to call Lawrence home, embracing its vibrant culture and close-knit community.
Rose loves the summertime and enjoys discovering new places across New England. In her free time, she spends quality time with her fiancé and family, listens to her favorite R&B and Hip Hop music, and delights in her favorite, Dominican food.

Daniele is a Communications Manager in the Communications & Media Team at ASG. Daniele brings expertise in designing and executing integrated campaigns that drive community engagement & brand awareness. Daniele has proven success in managing media relations, including writing and distributing press releases, coordinating media coverage, and she is also a multilingual communicator, speaking both Portuguese and Spanish! Daniele has previously worked as a Community Engagement Marketing Strategist and Energy Advocate at La Comunidad, Inc., as well as a Client and Marketing Specialist roles at Mktc, and Johnson & Johnson.
Daniele grew up in Belem Para, Brazil and went to college at Estácio University in Brazil, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Advertising. She currently resides in Lynn, MA. In her free time, Daniele enjoys running, solving puzzles, designing shoes, writing, and calling her sister back home in Brazil. A fun fact about Daniele is that when she was a kid, she sold a lot of brigadeiros at school. She even came up with a Brigadeiro Love Delivery so kids could send one with an anonymous note to their crush. Daniele didn’t know it back then but she was already playing with creative ideas and having a lot of fun doing it.

Negi Chemaiywa is a Customer Support Center Representative. Negi brings with her great communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills from her last role at Wings to Fly LLC, where she was a Dispatcher working in logistics operations.
Negi grew up in Kenya, going to Moi Girls High in Nairobi. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, and is currently living in Methuen, MA. In her free time, she loves to sing and teach. A fun fact about Negi is that she loves math, and that she is trilingual, speaking English, Swahili, and Kipsigis.

With a strong eye for branding and a passion for design systems, Nadra turns complex problems into intuitive, beautiful solutions. Nadra has previously held Graphic Design roles at MGI Group, Inc., and 617 Web Marketing.
Nadra grew up in Egypt and went to college at Menoufia University in Egypt, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Pure Mathematics. She currently resides in Greater Boston, MA. In her free time, Nadra enjoys getting lost in a good movie and exploring new places with her family. A fun fact about Nadra is that she has a visual memory – she would snap mental pictures of book pages to remember for her exams.
Jose Nieves-Santiago

Jose Nieves-Santiago is a Customer Support Center Representative at ASG. Jose brings several years of customer service experience and prides himself on his time management, attention to detail, problem solving, and communications skills. Jose most recently worked as a Case Coordinator at the Middlesex Superior Court.
Jose graduated from the Universidad Ana G Méndez in Gurabo, Puerto Rico with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He grew up in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico and currently resides in Lowell, MA. In his free time, he likes to watch sports, try different places to eat, and travel. A fun fact about Jose is that he is a decent axe thrower! Jose is also fluent in Spanish.
