Senior Project Manager

The Sr. Project Manager is a key member of our award-winning team. They are self-motivated, community-oriented, and thoughtful professionals who serve as the primary internal liaison for project tactics and are accountable for project execution. Their primary role is to lead complex, high-risk, high-profile and/or multivariable projects from conception to launch. The Sr. PM has expert-level project management skills that allow them to lead any type of delivery project with limited supervision. Our Sr. PMs have 4+ years of relevant experience.

Primary Accountabilities

  • Author and communicate project briefs, project work plans
  • Review and distribute meeting agendas and recaps
  • Lead project kickoffs, internal status meetings, and closeouts
  • Create and deliver high quality, on brand presentations
  • Interpret financials and distribute project burn analysis
  • Accountable for initiation of project change impact analysis process (i.e., out-of-scope requests/scope creep)
  • Report weekly on project status
  • Deliver and manage marketing and outreach projects
  • Drive the definition of project scope, financials, deliverables and milestones for project implementation
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships within assigned accounts ensuring high levels of customer success
  • Maintain ongoing client interface appropriate to the project to keep client informed and enhance client relations
  • Identify project needs and work with cross-functional Managers to ensure accuracy and updates of resource plans
  • Monitor project budget and ensure proper allocation of dollars per project milestone/deliverable
  • Collaborate with SME (subject matter experts) teams to define key deliverables, develop project schedule, and author project charter
  • Monitor project scope and critical path, identify potential bottlenecks and make schedule adjustments
  • Work with project team to identify project risk, plan for risk response and mitigation and proactively monitor project risks and resolutions
  • Resolve conflicts, including scope, schedule, resource, budget, quality and communication
  • Accountable for adequate project documentation within enterprise systems and acknowledged by all relevant stakeholders
  • Accountable for application of high touch delivery processes and PMO standards across project campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development of campaign proposals and presentations for potential future clients
  • Mentor and assist with training of Project Managers and Project Coordinators
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Access to the internet is required
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, especially during project peaks is required
  • A BS/BA degree from an accredited college/university, with a degree in a related field
  • PMP Certification is a plus
  • Bilingual preferred but not required, fluent in English and Spanish/Portuguese
  • Candidates will be required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including eligible booster shots, upon commencing employment. Reasonable accommodations will be considered on a case-by-case basis for exemptions to this requirement in accordance with applicable law

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and iOs applications/systems, and ability to build fluency in other database management tools
  • Extensive experience drafting project plans
  • Successful experience working and sometimes managing others within a matrix organization
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to monitor project progress and keep cross-functional teams motivated
  • Demonstrated ability to form meaningful and respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including public speaking
  • Must possess the ability to think creatively and strategically
  • Must be able to work independently without intensive supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with diverse groups of people
  • Commitment to creating awareness around equity, and inclusion
